As you look through our web pages, listen to the music, view the pictures and read its content, it is my hope that you will sense the essence of our school. Agape,' is the type of school in which we strive to make each parent's day "worry free."
There are challenging days ahead of us all, and it is my focus to provide our students with programs and services that will most effectively touch their lives.
Additionally, this school year I stand on this; "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!

Welcome to our website. I am delighted that you have considered Agape’ Academy and Child Development Center in your pursuit of a Christian based education for your child. Our experienced, nurturing staff of degreed teachers are committed to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible.
Our number one focus is to teach our students about the love of Jesus Christ. At Agape’ we want our students to be successful in everything they do and to take pride in their accomplishments. Thus, we are dedicated to providing an environment where God’s Word is recognized and taught as the truth, the way and the light of the world.
We at Agape realize that a successful education begins with you, the parent. Therefore, we encourage parents to build an open communication relationship with their child’s teacher and to take an active role in the education process.

In His Service
Curriculum
Agape Academy Child Development Center uses the Abeka Curriculum for its pre school section. For early learners,the Abeka Curriculum can be challenging, as the young child begins its ability to learn letters, colors, numbers, shapes, science and most of all words. This curriculum has a spiral approach to skill building. It is bible based and therefore approaches each subject from a Christian perspective. Abeka places emphasis on teaching phonics (reading), mathematics and language development in a structured classroom setting.
For Pre school students, we also incorporate the Project Construct curriculum. It allows children to construct knowledge through hands on activities and interactions with their physical and social environment. This curriculum assists the students in exploring and discovering things on their own.
Our Preschool along with the Abeka curriculum, uses the Creative Curriculum. Creative Curriculum is a play-based curriculum which uses exploration and discovery as a way of learning. It enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and life-long critical thinking skills.
Curriculum/Elementary and Middle School
For our elementary and middle school uses the Harcourt curriculum and other more advanced supplements to achieve an accelerated education. Most Agape students score higher and sometimes even two grades higher than their current grade. Harcourt and other supplements including Abeka help to insure a sound accelerated academic experience. It is not unusual to find 7th and 8th grade students figuring out geometry and advanced algebra problems. We teach strongly, physical sciences, including environmental, earth and life sciences.
Agape has incorporated music, art, woodshop classes, machine shop and family and consumer science.
Extra Curriculum Activities
Extra activities include drama, sign, dance, step, choir, band, basketball and soccer.
Transportation
Agape' offers transportation to and from the center. We service throughout the St. Louis area including North County.

Agape' Academy & Child Development Center is purposed to provide the very best in educational and child care needs. We pledge to provide for each student a sound accelerated academic curriculum in a wholesome & safe Christian atmosphere. Agape purposes to provide academic knowledge of God's Written Word.
Agape' recognizes that the essential purpose of education is to provide each student with basic literacy. We will give each student the skills necessary to transfer the essential elements of knowledge and wisdom. We firmly believe that education begins in the home. Our program is designed to continue the educational process formally, and to prepare the student how to strive for excellence, understanding that this may be an unachievable goal when consider the rapid changes taking place on our planet from day to day, moment to moment. Education is unending.
Agape' staff pledges to work with parents, helping them to help our children as they strive for mental, physical, and spiritual growth.
As we work to build the self esteem of our students, Agape staff pledges together to maintain a mind that is open to an ever-changing world so they will be able to take their positions as Christians in which they are entitled and ordained by God to be leaders, pace setters, builders, the influential, the lenders......the Beautiful Minds & Hearts of Jehovah God through Jesus Christ!!
